Free Chick-Fil-A on Labor Day

September 6, 2009

chickfila laborLabor Day is officially one of the best holidays of the year because of Chick-Fil-A.

This Monday September 7, Chick-Fil-A will be giving away a Free Chicken Sandwich to every customer who is wearing their favorite team logo merchandise.

The good news is that they are offering the free sandwich from 10:30am – close, which means you can go to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and dinner……yes.

Full details (and to sign up for another coupon to get mailed to your house) can be found at ChickenWave.com

Spare Change

Grilled Chicken Sandwiches at Chick-Fil-A are awesome.

The chicken is fresh, the bun is perfect…….but what about that unnecessary lettuce and tomato? It just makes the sandwich soggy and it gets in the way.

You don’t need it (don’t let this picture fool you).

Every time I order the Grilled Chicken Sandwich the fist thing I do is open it up and toss the lettuce and tomato to the side.

The other problem with the Grilled Chicken Sandwich is that it costs an arm and a leg – not really but with fries and a drink it’s well over $7. Hold on a second….since when is “fast food” over $7?

So – we have a great, overpriced sandwich with pointless toppings.

Here’s an idea.

Next time you order the Grilled Chicken Sandwich at Chick-Fil-A say this, “No lettuce and tomato please.” The employee will respond, “My pleasure” and deduct $.30 from your total.

You don’t need the lettuce and tomato anyway so you might as well save $.30 and enjoy the Grilled Chicken Sandwich the way it was suppose to be.

P.S. – One more tip: if you’re feeling healthy and order fruit instead of fries, Chick-Fil-A is going to up charge you for it…but since you just killed the lettuce and tomato….it’s a wash.

College Shirt = Free Chicken

August 30, 2008

Never before has getting free food so easy.

I’ll tell you what you have to do.

1. Get dressed and wear a college t-shirt.

2. Go to Chick-Fil-A on Monday September 1.

That’s it. You will get handed a FREE 3-pack of the new Chick-Fil-A chicken strips. You can go again and again, you can visit all of the Chick-Fil-A’s near you and basically eat for free ALL day on Labor Day.

Chick-Fil-A came out with a new recipe of Chicken Strips several months ago.

Personally, I have never previously been a fan of the stips – I always go for the original sandwich however after seeing them promote the “new recipe” I thought it couldn’t hurt to get a taste.

Now. I’m addicted. It’s all I get. Mix it with the new Chick-Fil-A sauce and you are golden. Satisfied for life.

The best part about the free Chicken Strip Giveaway on Labor Day is that you don’t even have to pull a Classy Move to get the free food. Just show up. It can’t get any easier than that.
