Grilled Chicken Sandwiches at Chick-Fil-A are awesome.
The chicken is fresh, the bun is perfect…….but what about that unnecessary lettuce and tomato? It just makes the sandwich soggy and it gets in the way.
You don’t need it (don’t let this picture fool you).
Every time I order the Grilled Chicken Sandwich the fist thing I do is open it up and toss the lettuce and tomato to the side.
The other problem with the Grilled Chicken Sandwich is that it costs an arm and a leg – not really but with fries and a drink it’s well over $7. Hold on a second….since when is “fast food” over $7?
So – we have a great, overpriced sandwich with pointless toppings.
Here’s an idea.
Next time you order the Grilled Chicken Sandwich at Chick-Fil-A say this, “No lettuce and tomato please.” The employee will respond, “My pleasure” and deduct $.30 from your total.
You don’t need the lettuce and tomato anyway so you might as well save $.30 and enjoy the Grilled Chicken Sandwich the way it was suppose to be.
P.S. – One more tip: if you’re feeling healthy and order fruit instead of fries, Chick-Fil-A is going to up charge you for it…but since you just killed the lettuce and tomato….it’s a wash.
